You must be 18 years of age or older to attend. We are also only allowing people to attend if they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This means you've received both doses of a vaccine, and you received the second dose at least 2 weeks prior to the day of group. We will be asking to see people's vaccination cards and IDs at the door. We won't be saving or storing people's private or medical information. If you have questions or concerns about this, please reach out to us.
Cost is $15 per person for entry.
This is a drug and alcohol free play space. If you are suspected to be under the influence you will be asked to leave.
Smoking allowed outside only.
If you arrive early please be patient until group leaders arrive. Check in at the desk upon entering.
Our goal is to leave the space as we found it. Remove shoes upon entering, Clean up after yourself, and covered containers only. Leave nothing behind.
Vanilla to the door. Inside, no nudity. This means chests and genitals must be covered. We do not support double standards, so these rules apply to all bodies, regardless of gender.
Never use anyone's real name outside of rope group, we all like our anonymity. Fet names or scene names in follow up posts only.
Avoid making assumptions about people’s dynamics or identities. If you don’t know how someone prefers to be addressed, please ask. This includes preferred scene name and pronouns.
P.R.I.C.K. (Personal responsible informed consensual kink) is always in practice for the duration of the event.
Do not touch anything or anyone that is not yours without permission. B.K.R.G. is not responsible for any lost, broken or stolen property. It's your job to keep track of your belongings. If you borrow something, make sure you return it.
We have gender neutral bathrooms and changing stalls in the studio, and if you have any concerns about your personal safety while attending please reach out to us.
Leave drama at the door, no politics, no religious debates, no gossiping about other people in the community.
Photography is permitted if you obtain consent from everyone in the photo. Please use walls to avoid people in the background of your photos.
We ask that you show all of our educators respect by following their instructions while they are teaching a class or leading a discussion. Please do not tie ahead of them if you are experienced or familiar with what they are teaching. Stay with the pace of the class. Save your questions for when the instructor says it's appropriate.
Guest educators are responsible for setting the tone. Do not let any one attendee take your class off track. People are here to listen to you teach.
This is an inclusive event. If you shame anyone or become disrespectful to others for any reason you will be asked to leave. We feel closed mindedness is not conducive to our learning environment or the energy we wish to have for the space.
Suggestions for improvement ideas always welcome.
If you break any rules you will be warned and reminded to read the rules again. If it happens again we will ask you to leave without refund and depending on the severity you may be banned either temporarily or permanently. We take safety and consent seriously and feel our members should as well.
This is an educational focused event, however we feel observing scenes can be educational too so scenes are also allowed during free tying time but not during classes.
2.Please do not interrupt someone who is having a scene. This includes solo scenes like self suspensions. If you have a question or concern bring it to one of the group leaders. If you decide to have a scene please be aware that back ground noise is inevitable while others are learning.
Scenes must be rope focused. Rope, suspension gear and your hands are the only tools you can use. No additional implements allowed. So leave the "Toy bag" at home. NON SEXUAL SCENES ONLY!!! No penetration is allowed (kissing and touching is okay but nipples and genitals must remain covered at all times. This includes all types of bodies and configurations, so make sure you dress appropriately and comfortably.
Safe words will always be respected in this space. We ask that everyone uses the Red, Yellow, Green system while in the space to avoid any confusion. If you use Red the scene is over.No exceptions.
Group leaders reserve the right to stop anything at any time as they see fit. This includes asking you to stop your scene or stop participating in a class if we feel that you are tying outside of your skill level or in an unacceptable, dangerous, or risky way. We will also interrupt if we have good reason to believe that what is taking place was not negotiated or consented to prior to the start of the scene.
If in doubt about anything at any point please ask or bring it to the attention of the group leaders Koalafied_, ropespaced, and Griffin207.
Koalafied_, ropespaced, and Griffin207 are the suspension monitors. They reserve the right to end any suspension at any time, and they also have final say over who is permitted to use the group hard points and for how long.
We have 2 hard points for the time being. Please do not monopolize them. If they are in use please be patient. If you feel one or both are being monopolized speak up! If you wanted to use it and did not get the chance please let one of the monitors know and they will try to make sure you get first dibs for the next group you come to.
If you have your own portable rig and wish to bring it you must clear it with us first and still abide by the rules.
You are allowed to request the help of an experienced rigger if you want to learn suspension. However you will be expected to already have a good comprehension of tying basics. Please understand this is for the safety of the whole group and we do not wish to shame your skill level or what you do in the privacy of your home. However we must ensure safer practices are being modeled.
Suspension monitors reserve the right to ask you to use a spotter. Depending on the situation you can pick your own or they will assign one to you. If you are asked to use a spotter and you refuse you will not be allowed to suspend at group. Please leave egos at the door. If someone questions why you do or did something be able to explain and answer their questions humbly, no matter your skill level. This is still a learning environment. Also be open to feedback and listen to concerns when someone expresses them. (This includes all group leaders and guest educators. No one is exempt.)
